Padas River Rafting Day Trip

Pick up from KK City Hotel around 0730-0800hrs and by road depart to Tenom Town. Tenom is a small town covers 2,409 Sq KM located in interior district of Sabah and it is also the centre Of the Murut tribe. The Tenom Town was formerly called Fort Birch in the colonial period. Arrive at Tenom Town train station around 1100hrs, visiting local stall or have a cup of Tenom coffee and get changed. Bags or luggage will be stored at the van and will be transferred to Beaufort Town. Depart by train around 1230hrs for 30 minutes train ride to Pangie Village ? the starting point. Upon arrival, lunch will be serve at the riverside. After lunch around 1330hrs, safety equipment will be provided. Safety briefing will be conducted before rafting down the challenging and exciting river journey in Borneo. The Padas Whitewater Rafting will cover 12KM with 09 major rapids. Stop for a rest before continuing rafting journey with spectacular view of the rainforest of Borneo until the pull out point. Upon arrival at Halogilat Village (Ending point) around 1600hrs, gearing off, clean up and enjoy light refreshment before taking a train ride back to Beaufort Town.

Arrive at Beaufort Town at about 1830hrs and to be transferred back to Kota Kinabalu City Hotel.

NOTE:

1)      Participants must be physically fit.

2)      Jewellery & contact lenses are not advisable

3)      The company reserves the right to change or cancel tour should conditions beyond the companyfs control render it necessary.

4)      River rafting is subject to the water level and weather condition.  If Padas rafting is not possible, Kiulu rafting may be substituted.  However, if rafting is not possible to be conducted at all, an alternative tour may be suggested.

     

 

Suggested things to bring :   

Light & extra clothing, short pants, towel,  slippers, personal toiletries, sunblock, waterproof camera (optional) & raincoat.
